Blog Set Up


To have a blog page added to your website, please call BrightWork, Inc at 781-268-2648 or email us at Service@wymsy.com

Once we have set up the blog, go to the blog page on your site.

Note: You do not need to be logged into WYMSY to add entries to the blog.


Across the top of the blog page you will see word links:

Front page  Login  Register

Click on Login and you will come to a page asking for your user name and password. These are provided to you as part of the set up process. Enter the information and click Login.

Then you will see the Blog landing page with

Front page  Admin  New entry  My profile  Logout

across the top. Click New Entry, enter the Title for the blog piece you are writing and a subtitle if you wish. You can date and time stamp the entry, or leave those fields bland and they will fill in automatically.

Then, use the editing box to enter your text. To add a picture, use the Edit Image
icon in the second row and follow the instructions to upload and place the image. Click the Save button to save your blog entry.

Add New Editor


Go the blog page of the site without being logged in as either a site editor or blog editor. Click Register and complete the information for the person.

Login as a blog editor and go to the Admin page.
 Front  page | Admin | New entry | My profile | Logout

Then click User Manager link  at the top of the page
Front page | New Entry | Settings | Categories | User Manager | Logout
and find the person on the list. Click Edit User and give the person Administrator status.
